Women in Coding

Providing affordable coding classes for women in the community

Women in Coding was started in early 2016 by Zoe Koulouris and Kseniya Lifanova. Our mission is to provide resources and opportunities for those interested in coding and design in the local community.

Although this group is geared towards women, anyone is welcome to attend our classes.

We host affordable monthly classes as well as casual events for people to network and connect. Please see below for our next class.

ANNOUNCEMENT:

We have changed the format of our classes from an instructor led class to a workshop style class. Rather than having an instructor teach a specific topic, these workshops will give people a chance to work on a project or work through an online curriculum at their own pace. Each workshop will have at least one mentor to provide support and answer questions. A newsletter will be sent out at the beginning of each month including information about that month's mentor, along with their skillset.

  • Workshop classes will be held on the second Saturday of each month at the Tech Garden in downtown Syracuse, NY.

  • We are excited to announce that Christy Presler and Annalena Davis will be taking on leadership roles with Women In Coding! Click here to read their bios.
